Overview
Dade Christian School’s curriculum offers many advanced-level courses and a variety of elective opportunities. An individual program is developed for each student and courses are offered at varying levels of difficulty. Admission is subject to teacher and administrative approval, as well as performance on achievement test scores and the PSAT. Honors and Dual Enrollment (DE) courses allow students to earn additional quality points toward their GPA. Students may begin earning high school credits as early as 8th grade.

All courses taken in grades 9-12 are included in the cumulative GPA. Other than the top two students in the graduating class. DCS does not rank its students.

The DCS Fine Arts Department consists of Choir and Band ensembles as well as Middle and High School Art classes led by expert instructors. Our students are guided toward mastering their craft and participating in seasonal performances and competitions.

DCS Students must maintain a minimum of a 2.0 Cumulative GPA and complete a minimum of 80 community service hours.

Dade Christian School is fully accredited by: Florida Association of Colleges and Schools (FACCS) Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)National Council of Private School Accreditation (NCPSA)Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS)

We have been fully accredited by FACCS since 1972. In 1998 we received full accreditation from SACS and in 2009 we received full accreditation from NCPSA.
​
For each of these accreditations DCS must maintain a Continuing Improvement Plan and must have a team from the accrediting agencies visit the school every five years for renewal. The last site visit was in October 2021 and our accreditation was renewed until 2026
